Shipping policy

ORDER & SHIPPING CONFIRMATION

Once payment for your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email including a summary of your order. Please ensure that all the details are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please contact us at hi@thewhitewindowcurtains.com as soon as possible. Processing starts within hours of receiving an order and once the fabric is cut, it may not be possible to make any changes.

Once an order is ready and picked up by DHL/Fedex, we also send a notification of dispatch along with the tracking number so clients can track the progress of their package.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping is free for all our products except samples.

IMPORT DUTY & TAXES

All import duties and taxes are included in our prices for shipments to the United States of America.

For shipments to any other countries including Canada, UK or any other EU countries, our prices do *not* include import duties and taxes that the individual countries may impose. Buyers are solely responsible for paying any import taxes and duties once the shipment reaches their country.

PROCESSING & DELIVERY TIMELINE

Curtains & Valances: Window treatments are targeted for dispatch within three weeks, though we are able to ship out many orders ahead of schedule. We use DHL or FedEx with typical transit time of 3-7 days. Majority of our clients receive their packages within three weeks from date of order, but if our pipeline happens to be busy – especially during holiday season – we do ask for your patience and aim for delivery in four weeks.

*Some drapes and valances with trims *may* take up to six weeks as our trims are sourced from Turkey & London, thereby adding to our processing timeline in some instances.

Swatches & Fabrics by Yard: Fabric samples and fabric bought by yard are typically delivered within seven days of order.

Wallpapers: Wallpaper orders are typically delivered within 10-14 days of order.

Accessories: If ordered standalone, accessories such as pillow covers, runners, table covers, dining placemats, and tiebacks are dispatched within 10 days of the date of order. If ordered alongside window treatments, they are shipped altogether in line with the window treatments dispatch timeline.

If there are any delays due to non-availability of fabric, or holds by customs officials for inspection, we will write to you as soon as possible.

OTHER

We cannot deliver to PO Box numbers so please provide non-PO delivery address at checkout.

FedEx and DHL prefer contactless delivery since COVID and will leave the parcel at your doorstep, mailroom or at a safe place on the premises while retaining photographic proof of delivery.

Please note that we cannot coordinate last-mile deliveries on your behalf. If you miss delivery from any carrier and they are not able to leave your package at the doorstep due to theft concerns, the package will be returned to us after three delivery attempts. In such cases, we do not provide refunds or re-shipping.
